Whittard was established by Walter Whittard in 1886, trading at 165 Fleet Street, London selling teas from far off lands such as China and India. He soon branched out into coffee from Indonesia and South America. Their philosophy from the outset has been to introduce as many people as possible to the magical world of tea and coffee and their website is just one way in which they aim to make this a reality. Whittard believe strongly in ethical buying and aim to be fair to the farmers they trade with. The website is a wonderful place to buy your tea and coffee.
