Wedding Dress Madness
Thursday 6th March 2008 Bride’s to be went a little bit crazy in New York last Friday as the annual wedding dress sale in Filene's Basement opened it’s doors at 8am.
The sale is well known around the country for offering the best discounts on dresses for miles around and many brides operate military style campaigns to make sure they get their gown of choice.
Many brides get to the store in the early hours of the morning some pitching tents to ensure they get their hands on one of the 2,500 dresses marked down from 70% to 95%.
The sale is first come first serve and there is no time for dressing rooms with females trying on gowns over clothes in the aisles. If you think you fancy joining in with this lunacy to get the dress of your dreams keep your eye on the Filene’s website for next year’s dates.
